Chally Meeker
Founder, CarJourney
I built CarJourney because I needed it. I'm a gearhead who was tired of spreadsheets, shoe boxes of receipts, and forum threads that vanish the second you need them. I wanted one place for every oil change, mod, and part number — without retyping it all by hand.
The moment that stuck with me was selling a car and scrambling to prove what had been done. Buyers don't trust a vague "well maintained" line. They want receipts, dates, and a story they can verify. That history problem is what got me started.
I'm still building the tool I wished I had: something that lives with the car, not just the last oil change. If you care about your build the way I care about mine, this is for you.

CarJourney is built and owned by Blue Shed Digital, LLC. I started it in Virginia to solve a personal problem — and to get real AI development experience by shipping something I would actually use.
At the time, there weren't many good tools for tracking mods and maintenance. I used that gap as a reason to build something real. The space is crowded now, and that's okay. CarJourney was never meant to be another generic reminder app.
I'm building CarJourney to be the app and site that covers all of my car needs: mod tracking, inspiration, shopping, and community. If it belongs in the life of a build, it belongs here.
