Yes. The free plan is free forever and includes 1 vehicle, unlimited maintenance and mod logs, full community access, and unlimited share links.
What does Pro unlock?
Pro unlocks unlimited vehicles plus the full AI feature set:

- AI Journal scanning — photograph receipts, recall letters, and order confirmations for instant AI summaries
- AI-powered summary refinement — add context to improve any journal entry
- AI Q&A — ask questions specific to your vehicle's history and specs

What is the Vehicle Journal?
The Journal lets you photograph receipts, recall notices, order confirmations, or parts and have AI analyze and summarize them automatically. Entries are stored in a timeline on your vehicle, include the original photo, and you can refine the AI summary at any time by adding additional context.
How do I add a vehicle?
Three ways: scan your license plate (auto-fills year, make, model, trim, and engine), enter your VIN directly for the same auto-fill, or enter details manually. All three options are available on the Add Vehicle screen.
What is vehicle sharing?
You can generate a shareable link to your vehicle's full history — maintenance records, modifications, cost summary, and gallery. Links can be activated, deactivated, or permanently deleted at any time. Ideal for selling a vehicle or sharing your build with a buyer.
Can I transfer ownership of a vehicle?
Yes. You can transfer a vehicle to any other CarJourney user by entering their email address. The recipient sees the pending transfer in their garage and can accept it with one tap. The full history moves with the vehicle.
What is Shop This Build?
When viewing another user's public vehicle, you'll see a 'Shop This Build' button that uses AI to identify products from the vehicle's modifications and maintenance history. You can browse and purchase those products directly. It only appears on public vehicles when you're viewing someone else's build.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel anytime. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. A one-time lifetime purchase is also available to avoid recurring charges entirely.
What payment methods do you accept?
On iOS we accept Apple Pay and credit/debit cards through the App Store. On Android we accept Google Pay and credit/debit cards through Google Play. On the web we accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your data is stored securely on Supabase (enterprise-grade PostgreSQL). Photos and documents are stored in private, access-controlled storage. You can export all your data anytime from Settings, and you have full control to delete your account and all associated data.
