Welcome to CarJourney. By accessing or using the CarJourney mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using CarJourney, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. Your use of CarJourney is entirely voluntary, and there is no obligation to use this service.
2. Service Provider
CarJourney is owned and operated by Blue Shed Digital LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). Blue Shed Digital LLC strives in all reasonable efforts to offer CarJourney as an easy-to-use, valuable tool for vehicle enthusiasts to track their vehicles, maintenance, modifications, and connect with a community.
3. Use of the App
CarJourney is provided as a vehicle tracking and community platform. You may use the App to:
- Track your personal vehicles
- Log maintenance records and modifications
- Connect with other vehicle enthusiasts
- Share vehicle information publicly (if you choose)
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
CarJourney offers a free tier and a premium subscription called "CarJourney Pro." The free tier includes: 1 vehicle, unlimited maintenance/mod tracking, unlimited community interactions (likes, comments, follows, posting), and unlimited active share links. AI features are available with CarJourney Pro.
CarJourney Pro removes all free tier limits and provides unlimited access to all app features, including:
- Unlimited vehicles in your garage
- Unlimited AI-powered document scanning for maintenance receipts
- Unlimited AI questions about your vehicles
- Unlimited community interactions (likes, comments, follows)
- Unlimited share links
- Full access to all current and future Pro features
Fair Use Policy
All "unlimited" features within CarJourney Pro are subject to a reasonable fair use policy. While the vast majority of users will never encounter any limits, we reserve the right to enforce reasonable usage thresholds to prevent abuse, protect the quality of service for all users, and maintain the integrity of our platform. These thresholds are set well above what any normal usage pattern would require.
Automated, scripted, or programmatic access to AI-powered features is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing by Blue Shed Digital LLC. Use of the Service must be for personal, non-commercial purposes consistent with the intended functionality of the App.

Subscription Plans
- Monthly: Auto-renewable subscription billed monthly
- Yearly: Auto-renewable subscription billed annually
- Lifetime: One-time purchase granting permanent access (does not auto-renew)
Payment & Renewal
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account (iOS) or Google Play account (Android) at the time of purchase confirmation. For auto-renewable subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly), your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price. Prices are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.
Managing & Canceling Subscriptions
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's account settings. On iOS, go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions. On Android, go to Google Play Store > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. 5. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display through the App ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Blue Shed Digital LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content within the App. You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to post it.
Blue Shed Digital LLC reserves the right to remove, disable, or restrict access to any User Content that violates these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy below, without prior notice. We may also use automated tools, including artificial intelligence, to screen content before or after publication.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
CarJourney is a community for vehicle enthusiasts. To keep the platform safe and welcoming, the following content is strictly prohibited:
- Hate speech, slurs, or content that promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any individual or group
- Sexually explicit or pornographic material, including images and text
- Graphic violence or content that glorifies violence
- Content that promotes or facilitates illegal activity
- Self-harm or suicide promotion or instructions
- Spam, unsolicited advertising, or repetitive content
- Impersonation of other individuals or entities
- Content that is deliberately misleading or fraudulent
- Any content that is not related to vehicles and is posted with intent to abuse the platform
Automated Content Screening
We use artificial intelligence to automatically screen user-generated content (text and images) for violations of this policy. Content that is flagged may be blocked from publication. This screening is designed to protect the community and may occasionally flag content in error.
Reporting
If you encounter content that you believe violates this policy, you can report it using the flag icon available on comments, questions, answers, and profiles. Our team reviews reports and takes appropriate action.
Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in:
- Removal of the offending content
- A warning to the user
- Temporary suspension of the user's account
- Permanent ban from the platform
The severity of enforcement depends on the nature and frequency of the violation. Repeated violations will result in escalating consequences.
Appeals
If you believe your content was incorrectly removed or your account was incorrectly restricted, you may contact us at support@carjourney.app to request a review.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
CARJOURNEY IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Blue Shed Digital LLC does not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Any defects will be corrected
- The App or servers are free of viruses or harmful components
- The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable
- Any information provided by third-party services (such as vehicle lookup services) is accurate or complete
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BLUE SHED DIGITAL LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
- Service interruption or computer damage
- Cost of substitute services
- Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App
- Any conduct or content of third parties on the App
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data
IN NO EVENT SHALL BLUE SHED DIGITAL LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US (IF ANY) IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Blue Shed Digital LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
10. Data Usage & Privacy
Your use of CarJourney is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. We use your data solely to enhance the product, troubleshoot bugs, and improve service reliability. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for marketing or advertising purposes.

11. Third-Party Services
CarJourney may integrate with or provide access to third-party services, including but not limited to vehicle lookup APIs and AI-powered document analysis. Blue Shed Digital LLC is not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of these third-party services. Your use of such services is at your own risk and subject to the terms and policies of those third parties.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the new Terms in the App. Your continued use of CarJourney after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts located in Virginia.
